Question: What do you like about the team building industry?
Jane: I love the diversity, the way the industry is constantly evolving and the feeling at the end of another successful event – it’s a rush and you can’t beat it!

Question: How do you feel that Accolade has changed during the last two years?
Jane: The global recession has undoubtedly had an impact but from our perspective I think we have emerged from the recession with a improved range of team building activities. With budgets being more sensitive than ever before, clients are having to justify booking a corporate event, this has made us review and overhaul even our most loved old favourites meaning that we are right at the top of our game.

Question: What has been your most challenging event?
Jane: (Laughs) Well sometimes it’s not the largest, biggest budget, most exotic event that will prove challenging and by virtue of how we create bespoke events for our clients, all our events have challenges but if I had to mention one event I would say it was a Team Apprentice event that was hosted over three days in two countries, following teams around with camera crews while they bartered in a Moroccan souk and then making sure everyone returned back to London for the final boardroom session was ‘challenging’ but at the same time, one of the most rewarding events I’ve event managed!

Question: If you weren’t here now where would you be?
Jane: 25 Metres under the water in the Philippines scuba diving and watching the breathtaking Thresher sharks – totally stunning!
