Fake Maori scandal: Our HAKA masters are the real thing

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

There’s been a scandal in the headlines recently about a cruise liner docking in New Zealand, hosting a cultural show with ‘fake’ Maoris performing  the HAKA, to the extent that the fakes have ‘FAKE MAORI’ written in pen on their forehead! Not the authentic experience you expect when landing in New Zealand.

It’s often the case that fake Maoris perform the HAKA here in the UK at corporate events but unfortunately they don’t write ‘fake’ on their forehead. We don’t doubt that Europeans can give a good rendition of the HAKA but we pride ourselves by offering an authentic experience.
If you host a HAKA team building activity or evening entertainment with us, you will get the 100% real deal, it’s as simple as that. The power that the real thing can deliver is immense and the motivational shared experience that your delegates will feel will drive your business forward on an overwhelmingly positive direction.

If you would like to arrange a HAKA team building activity or at an evening corporate event then please give our events team a call at Accolade Corporate Events today.
